James Hasso, Founder and CEO

As Founder and CEO of One 44 Advisory & Consulting LLC, James Hasso leverages his vast investment experience to provide clients with comprehensive advisory services to support their profitability, operating stability, and stock-return goals.

Prior to starting One 44, Jim was Managing Director and Head of US Small Cap Equities for Voya Financial (formerly ING). In this capacity, he analyzed thousands of companies across all major GICS industries, including Financials, Technology, Healthcare, Consumer, and Industrials/Energy sectors, while actively building and maintaining relationships with a client base of global investors.

He continually adapted his approach to an evolving business landscape, building deep expertise across issues such as digital currency, blockchain, and GSE (Governance, Social, and Environmental) practices. 

As a Voya leader, Jim acted in a range of advisory capacities. He provided an influential voice to Voya’s US CEO and operational leaders during periods of strategic change, notably during ING’s IPO to become Voya. During the Financial Crisis, he also represented ING’s US Division on the firm’s Global Strategy Committee.

Externally, he served as a government advisor on various matters, including engaging with the Federal Reserve, US Treasury, FDIC, OCC, CFPB, and the White House to provide insights for financial reform.

Additionally, he serves on the FTSE Russell Americas Regional Equity Advisory Committee.

As an industry speaker, Jim has presented at numerous financial sector and investment conferences for clients, CEOs, CFOs, and other executives of both public and private companies.

A first-generation American who cares deeply about supporting families and children in need, Jim is a current board member of The New York Foundling and Chair of the Investment Committee. Also, a former member of Soles4Souls Advisory Council and Americares National Leadership Council.


Jim holds a BA in Economics from Lehman College and an MBA from Fordham University where he also later served as an adjunct professor for the Gabelli School of Business.

Christina Giannini, CFA®

Christina Giannini, CFA®, is a seasoned investment professional with a history of success in portfolio construction, analytics, and investment strategy. With 20+ years of experience in the financial industry, Christina’s expertise spans small-cap and mid-cap equities, portfolio management, and index analysis.

During her tenure at Voya Investment Management, Christina served as a Small Cap Portfolio Analyst, analyzing data and trends across equity markets to identify portfolio opportunities and risks. She played a pivotal role in the investment process, contributing daily through idea generation and utilizing quantitative tools to analyze factor exposures and risks.

Prior to her role at Voya, Christina held positions at Bank of America and Prudential Equity Group, where she gained extensive experience in portfolio management, equity research, and quantitative analysis. As a portfolio strategist at Bank of America, Christina co-managed equity portfolio models for retail clients, overseeing all aspects of the portfolio management process. As a sell-side strategist at both firms, she contributed to the small/mid-cap strategy calls by performing quantitative and top-down research. Her benchmark analysis and projected Russell Index reconstitution changes were highly valued by portfolio managers.

Christina holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and a BS in Accounting from SUNY Albany.
